If you're $400 below market rate I'd give them chance to "catch up".

I'd talk to brokers in your specific asset class and market.Do you already own similar assets?

if you buy a random property on Zillow and turn it over to people you have never met, you will very likely lose money, get frustrated, and set yourself back.if you're serious i'd pick a market and plan on making several trips there. 

@Sam McCormack is a great agent there that helps plenty of investors. 

I'd pay it & chalk it up to lesson learned.

At 18 with an interest in CRE I'd be surprised if you didn't get influenced by someone you know?

As soon as I close on it (next week), I'll list it on Zillow as well.I spoke to a lot of unqualified candidates, but I also spoke to some good ones, and I'd like for them to fill out an application.
