Alex Stewart Tenant Lawsuit. Need advice!

We are still in the process of resolving the issues by pulling permits and re-doing the work but its a lengthy process and will still be a couple more weeks until it is resolved.Finally, I get a lawsuit letter from the tenant’s attorney today claiming emotional distress, hardship, food costs, lodging, etc. to the tune of $30,000 even though they moved into a new home within a couple days of leaving my property.

I was first drawn by the "odd" bldg construction when it started, and realized what it must be, looks about 80% completed now.they are pretty cool  big business lunch draw.. food is decent at least the one in Portlandia I have been to and the one in KC and Scottsdale been to the one in Vegas as well.. its very well thought out.. and HUGE money play

I would be very careful commercial in small towns can stay vacant for EVER and a Day.just drive through any small town between Dallas and New mexico.. look down the main street.. nice brick buildings 90% vacant then on the outskirts of town a walmart and the associated fast food joints..the resi might work.. and maybe you change the commerical to cheap storage but put NO value in its cash flow would be my advice unless there is some compelling reason you think those would be leased.. if there was demand they would not be vacant would be my thought

The patrons with too much alcohol in one mixed drink will get  buzzed too fast and not be able to have more drinks.For food main meals there is not much profit.
