I am a newbie when it comes to long-distance real estate investing and was looking at a property in the Joy-Schaefer/Aviation suburbs of Detroit.

I’m visiting for a few weeks for some aviation training and would like to meet some local folks in the REI community here to chat and connect

So I looked into private aviation a bit.

I'm not too worried now that Oklahoma has aviation, health care, entertainment, tech startups, and Kevin Durant.

Currently I work in a foundry, casting jet engine parts for GE aviation. 

you know i work in the aviation business as a dispatcher and when you ask people what is a dispatcher in the aviation field they look at you like you have 2 heads...

After making the decision to separate, I continued working as a Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration which brought me to Duluth.  

My experience as an aviation officer in the US army has given me the skills to, manage, problem solve, influence, coordinate and make on the spot decisions.

I majored in finance and real estate in college but ended up in the aviation world as an Airline Pilot.
