I, unfortunately, have alot of experience in catastrophic losses and large scale insurance claims.This is my attempt to give back to this community and provide some of my hard earned wisdom in the hopes that it helps you navigate this horrific situation.Get a support network now.

He just doesn't have the wisdom to know how to avoid/handle that.

And I think there’s a lot of wisdom in that. 

Maybe join a real estate group like Unexpected Investor and get wisdom from other investors and most importantly like Nathan said take action. 

Experience with models tells me they’re great confidence building tools, but never a good replacement for common sense - and the wisdom of experience.

While I am excited to get my feet wet so to speak, I am looking to see what feedback I can get regarding both options from the collective wisdom on these forums.
