Tell you what....go spend some time with the futures & options traders...who make $40,000 one month and then $800 the next month...see if that's a valid business model.

After you have a strong enough cash flow you can buy a small apartment unit and trade rent for equity.

Does anyone know of a program where we could trade real estate books back and forth?

I am a successful commodity trader so a degree is no longer as important as before.However I'm not going to drop out of school, that would be narrow minded.

I know day traders who tried RE and it flopped for them so they stick to stocks.

Others like the idea of flipping stocks like day traders, but this can be costly if you don’t have the experience or the guts to make tough calls!

Probably a lot of them are the same ones that wanted to be day traders 5 years ago.

We're getting moreand more traders in notes joining all the time. 8)

I happen to be a futures and options trader by trade for 25 years and a member of the CME.

As far as finding a mentor, I'm not sure I could make them money unless they are interested in investing in the financial markets as well, being that real estate is brand new to me, as opposed to being a trader for 3 years.
