More risk in terms of collections and damage by tenants or other external influences (i.e. thieves).

I have no money, bad credit, but this house is beautiful, in the perfect neighborhood and I don't want to let it turn into a vacant mess due to squaters, thieves, and such like.

After the auction, I drove by to see that an addition for the third bedroom had been destroyed by someone stealing the aluminum siding and the rest of the house was destroyed by copper thieves and a tree that had fallen on the front.Lesson learned:  Know what you are bidding on or don't bid!

Really really find out who they are, what they really do, how much they really know.I found one local club where the two guys running it, seemed legit, but then I dug deeper only to find out they were nothing but thieves.

Appliances are like candy for thieves.

“Tweekers are strange thieves” was my explanation.  

The Ring is nice because they have a battery operated one so thieves can't cut wires.The Nest is nice because the interface for reviewing/saving videos is easier to use in my opinion.We use both.Mike

Most thieves/vandals are looking for the least possible amount of work and are not too keen on stealing anything that they would have to lug/lift over a high fence. 

The people at Housing are useless and I’m sure not ready to become a thieves’ victim. 

I plan to incorporate 6 ft fences, barbed wire, cameras, signs eluding to the cameras and possibly audible alarms or electric top-wire to deter the would be thieves.
