If we don't tell them we're the owner, they might start getting suspicious when they see us making these changes.The last thing we would want is for them to feel like we're being dishonest landlords, but we also want to maintain some boundaries and make it a little easier to enforce rules if need be.Thanks for your help!

By talking more to the police, we found out that the main tenant had a long history of inviting guests in exchange for help around the house and that those relations would always turn tumultuous and that the police visited the house several times each quarter over civil complaints, suspicious activity, noise, drug related activity, and a bunch of other civil nuisance type of calls.

My opinion on this subject is admittedly biased, as I started investing without anyone’s help (not counting the buyer’s agent,) and am professionally suspicious of real estate gurus selling “education,” to begin with.

I don't know if anyone here has had any experience in buying properties that are already used as airbnb's and figuring out the price of the property based on income, but it is a very enticing place that has great returns, just feel suspicious about basing my purchase price on the income of a property through airbnb.

There are some "business friendly" banks and others that are a bit more suspicious of real estate investors.
