I like your perspective on finding someone with a similar lifestyle and similar spiritual attributes.

Specifically the parable of the talents (mathew 25:14-30) spoke to me on taking advantage of the opportunities I was given and the using the physical, intellectual and spiritual gifts I was given.  

I have found that the things that keeping me going forward in real estate, my spiritual life, family life, etc. is that I am continually feeding my mind with the things that grow me.

Spirituality helps me, I don't know where you stand, either way have faith in yourself. 

Becoming rich financially before one is rich emotionally, spiritually and educationally, often leads to this very situation.

So while I am not overly new agey or religious, I would go with some sort of secular or non-secular blessing or symbolic ceremony just for good measure to share that not only is the crime scene long covered, it has even been remodeled in a  psychic or spiritual sense... cleansed as it were.. .
