Looking for really good referrals for a great builder in the Southwest portion of FL, specifically Port Charlotte.

@Arina AlexiucI've had a lot of success in Southwest Florida, which could be an option for you.

Particularly in the southwest as well as Texas and Florida.  

For example, Decatur and Hartselle, which are located about 25 and 35 miles southwest of Huntsville, respectively, both have plenty of properties below the $250,000 mark.

The Great Lakes > empty lakes in the southwest region.  

Neighborhoods like Meridianville to the north or Decatur to the southwest of town—all B/B+ areas or better, by the way—are a good 30% cheaper than comparable properties in Huntsville proper.

Circling back to your question, no one has a crystal ball, but the south/southwest markets of Downtown ATL are showing promising signs of gentrification.

I'll take a look at the southwest side, too.
