How do you keep from getting side tracked from business ideas outside of real estate investing? 

Got side track with MLM and though I did learn a lot about personal development, I was not to fond of the financial structure.

Keep to your budgets.Sometimes you have to let yourself be sidetracked, because life does happen.

Don't get sidetracked by any of the tenant's antics.

I got hooked listening on the webinars and constantly get side tracked evaluating deals that are found on the MLS and on biggerpockets.

Abdul,New member here and not to sidetrack from the discussion here but when I see the discussions on "10% for maintenance, 10% CAPEX, 10% vacancy" etc.

I've also acted as buyer agent for family and friends.I got interested in real estate from watching an infomercial by a silver haired gentleman in Florida (can't remember his name) and got side-tracked into getting a license and going into property management!

But, as usual, my addiction to BP sidetracks me from studying all the time--like now for instance:)

Unfortunately he's sidetracked hanging out backstage with bands at several large rock festivals most of this summer.
