IMO Most of the time, people lose lawsuits or settle for much less due to laziness and lack of rock-solid knowledge about the illicit/illegal acts the opposing side committed.  

Keeping your options open while you settle in can help you avoid the stress of a hefty mortgage, and you'll still have the chance to build wealth in other ways.

As a result there were tenants who settled for 2 BR units and were dissatisfied or alternatively sought rentals in different neighborhoods.  

His lawyer even told our lawyer he had a crappy case.I was a bit annoyed that our insurance company settled for a $70K payout.
