If you check with the Clerk of the Court, Registrar of Deeds or whatever government agency is responsible for recording property related documents in the county where your property is you may find they already provide a similar notification service at no cost.

Property is in TN actually, it is historically significant, but not on the registrar/in a historical district (current owner has been approached before on the subject).
