Not saying your kid is or is not on the spectrum, but just food for thought in how you approach it.If they are on the spectrum, I would highly recommend making a concerted effort to go to open houses so he's constantly looking forward to something on the RE agenda.

Guys like Pace Morby will tell you it’s not rocket science.The “learn-as-you-go” mindset can lead to costly mistakes that are avoidable with the right foundation.

He knows how to do almost everything, but due to his pace I use him for mainly handyman work(toilets, fixtures, tuckpoint, wood work, switches/covers, etc) He has done minor HVAC and electrical for me as well, but..

First things first, remember it's a marathon, and you are getting such a head start that, in the long term, you will be leading the pack no matter your pace!
