Vinyl siding is starting to look oxidated, and getting a porousness to it.  

The wearlayer should be a minimum of 12 mils and it NEEDS a finish coating of an Aluminum Oxide or a Ceramic Bead for scratch resistance not just urethane.

I also acknowledge that price is one of the biggest benefits as well.LVP has come such a long way in the durability market because of the inclusion of a compound called aluminum oxide within the finish.

My paint has oxidized so bad that it looks like my car is a rust color.

The paint is old, even if you purchase a can mixed in 2011 it won't perfectly match as air and smoke oxidizes over 12 years.

Oxidation at the least; old finish + oxidation likely worst.  

You have the option of grey, red oxide, or white and it really doesn't matter which you decide to use.

There are a number of other products - and hydrogen peroxide is one of those - that will work much better.The other thing to remember is that the sodium hypochlorite in bleach is an oxidizer.

Use of "no-lux" anti-oxidant on those connections involving Al wiring is advised.
