Sorry, the first rental I really didn't pay attention of the steps, because I got my hand held along the way, which I guess wasn't smart on my part! 

The cost of having your hand held through the project is very high, but can totally be worth it if that's what you want+need.  

My last deal, the seller used a part time agent and had to have his hand held through the whole thing.

For example - your first couple deals, you may need your hand held tightly by your agent.

I'm at 11 now, with two in hand, held in cash that I plan to refi once they're done later this year.

Once you have a deal under contract and proven that you're not just a tire kicker looking to get their hand held through a deal, I'm sure plenty of people on BP would be more than happy to answer specific questions whether it be on the forums or someone willing to hop on the phone with you for 15 minutes to give you some pointers on a specific questons.And lastly, don't underestimate the importance of actually getting out there and meeting people at meetups.
