I have had several cases where I finally got cops or government officials to only do their job after being very loud to the newspapers, but it does work.  

@Jason Wray, The reason that our shop is pretty hot about your post is two-fold, we do all of the things that you are implying that we don't (other than government loans, we don't work in that space). 

Especially in the real estate rental sector, I like to say "Be polite through hospitality, but be harsh on Business"

Consider Section 8 housing for steady, government-backed income.

I have found enough business and made enough money not to need to expand outside of this market.Section 8 is a whole different ball game but I find the program is unique in that it's a 3-party relationship adding the variable of a government agency.

When you're talking about interest rates dropping I think you mean mortgage rates but the government isn't getting rich off of those.

You’re just throwing money at the government. 

The government will pay on time all the time once it is set up completely.

But there will be some markets or sectors that are buyers markets.
