We see a drop from 04 into 05 & 06 as some exotic zero down products were hitting the market, and a dip again in 09 as the government did all they could to stimulate the market.  

Later you can do some exotic things like borrowing on the property to leverage another.  

My much older sister used to say negative stuff all the time because she would see I travel to exotic places not knowing I would work just as hard as I play.

Is she pushing you to give her the world, pay her bills, fly her to Bali and buy exotic purses?

., etc.Depending on these types of factors, what makes sense for one person might not make sense for another person...for instance, a person who has a net worth of $10k, and who has $10k of credit card debt is probably over-leveraged...but a person with a net worth of $1 mil who has $10k of credit card debt is probably in OK shape (I say "probably" because there could be other factors in these peoples' finances that could change our assumptions--for instance, if the millionaire had $5 million in auto loans for exotic sports cars, they might be in trouble).Context is everything.

The Chinese are gonna have a lot of disposable income now that they can't spend it on exotic dogs and rats, you hope, young kids will be tired of the same usperhero garbage now that they see a virus can end them all, and bring back cinema to hollywood!

You could say dangerous breeds (e.g. pit bull etc), farm and exotic animals excluded (you forgot to list the snakes) that way you are covered. 

When you call mutual funds crap shoots it makes me feel like you are invested in exotic mixes...

CR itself is not unlike many of the countries around it -- beautiful beaches, both oceans, rainforest, mountains, etc ... however that didn't stop the US tourism industry from branding it "exotic and safe" and US folks traveled there en masse for the next two decades, much to the displeasure of . . . every country around it! 

If you know your market well then you should be positioned to pounce like a Joe Exotic Tiger!
