We go above and beyond when it comes to protection.. starting with insurance coverage, sings in the listing and in the property that there is no guard on duty (as silly as that sounds), putting extra locking device high enough so youngsters can't reach, an alarm/beep system to alert them that door opens for those with small children (or elderly) so they cannot wander out in the backyard with no one noticing and risk drowning.

My biggest rule it to pay off the heloc as soon as possible because the rate is variable and its much safer to be in a locked in mortgage.

Some landlords use lockboxes or smart locks to grant temporary access, but that has risks if you don’t have someone to oversee things.2.Move-out Inspections/Cleaning: Again, you’ll need boots on the ground for this.

Unless you're locking up 10 acres in a large metro where a DR Horton or KB homes might come in, thats a little less localized.
