Imagine dividing an apartment complex into 10k tokens and investors could buy/sell/trade those tokens with each token representing REAL EQUITY in the property...this is all just starting to happen.

The value of each share was the value of company divided by number of shares.  

If there is preferred equity in the deal, it can also affect how depreciation is divided among investors. 

Maybe they will figure out a way to divide the rent so the two with their own baths pay more and the three that have to share, pay less (not saying you should suggest this to them).

So in order to estimate annual return do you subtract note purchase price, say 75k.. and then divide by years remaining 9.3 then take average annual gain and divide by original price of 75k?

However, ownership distribution must be clearly outlined based on each party’s financial contribution, and income and expenses must be divided accordingly.You might look into forming an LLC or limited partnership to pool funds, which can streamline asset management.

How do you divide the based on value if each get different property?
