You do have to be aware of cultural differences and other challenges:- In other countries, workers ALWAYS take their birthdays off- You should inquire about & respect local holidays- Timezone differences of more than 2-4 hours, can lead to mysterious "sick" days.

Our ability to compete is much better than the cultures in Europe, Africa and South America. 

Detroit in particular has been a haven for out of state money and there is a sub culture that has developed of "contractors" advertising to provide this type of service while at best underperforming and at worst completely stealing from you.

Some of the main reasons I started this journey is so I can eventually take my family on trips to experience different cultures, help less fortunate people, and build generational wealth. 

We also have smaller pods such as underwriting, women investors, public speaking as the results of the entrepreneurship culture and value that continually being re-emphasized within the community.
