A big sale comes along and (poof) most of their attention is to the big money and they put managing on the back burner and things start falling through the cracks.I don't invest or work with residential but have lot's of friends who own many properties.

Now  it depends on your plans with your fiance in 6 years. 6 months sounds like you've already picked out the house and started packing but im not so sure your actually there yet. 6 months turns into 2 years very fast when things get put on the back burner.
