Tenants will bring in family members who are temporarily/permanently homeless, single moms will bring in new boyfriends, daughters who produce children will have a tendency to drop their offspring off with grandma and grandpa to raise, etc.. 

Boyfriend (who wasn't on the lease, was arrested on site by the SWAT) I assume, paid most of the bills. 

(Daughter is landscape architect there and her boyfriend a finish carpenter if you get in a pickle, whistle).

I did a horrible job at vetting this tenant for my ADU, however, I have done nothing but right by this tenant and has numerously asked that she put her boyfriend on the lease to ensure he is covered for rental insurance to keep me safe.

I actually have one friend selling a property she has there right now because the tenants never pay on time and one of the renters boyfriends got in trouble with the law and got a door busted in by the authorities.

Except I knew her boss and found out her boyfriend had just gotten out of prison and got her back on whatever drugs they liked to do together, and she had actually just lost her job and lied about the cancer.

She and her boyfriend (also on the lease) stopped responding to me yesterday.
