I will give you a few pointers on how to spot good siding for the future;The seams are staggered, meaning they do not line up, which is good because you don’t want it to look like a vertical line.The seams are “topped” in the same direction.

The stud is a vertical 2X4, maybe a 2X6 board inside the wall, you should cut one like it and place it in so that it acts as one piece running vertically and then use some lumber to scab on to the sides of the joints, placing a new piece on the side of the stud where the joints are.After that, you might use 2X4s perpendicular to the floor between the stud repaired and the corner stud.

Remember that I'm not a tax professional, but if you decide to set up an LLC, remember that you can affect the tax consequences of your business by electing whatever tax status you desire for the LLC.If you're wholesaling, you'll likely want to elect taxation as an S-Corp, which should allow you to treat some of your income as dividends (as opposed to salary), and avert the self-employment tax on that portion of the revenue.Again, talk to a CPA...and don't take my word for it

As for New Orleans, if they were willing to fight for their beliefs they would have stayed, rebuilt, and gotten rid of those who refused to allow the federal help to come into the state before it was too late to avert the comming disaster.
