U can do it with your own money but not investors.. reason it gives the investors a false sense of security thinking their loan is performing and everything is great..

(We settled anyways because the settlement was cheaper than what my attorney bills would have been to defend against this absurd suit, so I didn't test the true strength of the LLC)

So I didn't end up losing any more money than what was owed but it added about 2x the amount of stress with false hope and promises that never ended up happening.

The underlying assets are not liquid so it is a bit of a false market to suggest redemptions are generally possible.
