Hi all, I am Martin from Singapore, new to BP and I can see most of you are from US, but I believe we can all learn regardless of location.I just bought a small apartment in Thailand to start my property investment.

Somewhat of an aside but again showing how vast BP is; I recently went to Singapore and while waiting for a connection in Chicago thought I'd check BP to see if there were any members there.

I actually have a call with WealthAbility next week to see if they can help.For the past 10 years I’ve lived in Singapore and the management company in Minnesota has done well for me so I trust them.

In Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and China for example, there are restrictions on what a foreigner can purchase.

Welcome to BP.I'm a bit South of you in the greater Singapore area...I can't say that I would ever advocate buying locally in any of these countries for long term cash flow, especially when you have established RE contacts (family) back home...and more especially when you're going to be throwing enough USD around within a 36mo period to generate 10k/mo cash flow.That said, I don't work for one of the largest brands known to man nor do I give excellent TedTalks, so perhaps you know what you're doing after-all :)You're an asset here at BP and I'm sure others, along with myself, would be interested in hearing what you're doing there in Vietnam.
