I did loading/unloading big trucks, iron clothes in 120 degree room, and paint furniture without proper tools like mask which made me sick everyday.Moved to US as a Refugee with just $50, zero English, and didn't know anyone here zero friends/relatives.

Our rental market is driven by the normal need for housing, by the wildfire victims, a local ministry school that doesn't have any housing, traveling medical professionals, Covid refugees (those fleeing larger cities for a smaller one), tourism, and retirees moving here.

Two final items to consider: you will make your money when you purchase the land i.e. buy it right AND "you will walk a little different on land that you own" a memorable quote I received from a Eastern European refugee (Russian invasion 1952) that was purchasing 80 acres from me in 1981, He had become a millionaire in America and enjoyed owning Land.
