I was in New Britain CT this weekend trying to get a sense of the opportunities that are available in that market.

I'm  trying to get some additional feedback as to what are the best cities in Hartford county CT for buy and hold investing.I am currently looking at East Hartford, New Britain, Manchester,  and Bristol.Any suggestions as far as cities Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions and feedback 

I have read and re-read all your comments and admit to being seriously concerned as I can get no closing documents despite having paid up some eight months ago although a friend who attended the seminar in Britain with me last summer has had his closing documents and has also had an interview over the telephone in respect of his SRAP cashback with the Mississippi Development Association.

We did this primarily because a) we can borrow at a lower cost and b) it is easier for us to use equity lines of credit on our existing Canadian properties, than secure a mortgage in the U.S.A.In your instance, where you are no longer resident in Britain, you should first determine whether you remain able to refinance your property under terms and at a rate that makes business sense.  

Hi Tyler,I am originally from Connecticut and have a portfolio of multifamily in New Britain.

I currently have a few apartments available in multifamily buildings in New Britain. 

There are also ones in Hartford, New Britain and Torrington. 

Some folks have some luck investing in New Britain and Meriden is well.
