However if he is the type of guy (or gal) who sells a 4plex with a vacancy and has you fill it before the sale.. he does not seem like a good landlord.. so my advice, is to hand him the letter and make sure that, if he agrees to post the notice, that the notice will be legally correct, because he probably does not know how to make it legal.
