The key is to find a team and please please find a PM to work with first and let that PM help with the rest of the team.

I do not worry much about "hurried or sloppy work" because it is also in my contract that all work must pass inspection, which may include the city / county (for permitted projects), lender and myself.

I'm currently looking at a Multi Family deal with Victor and Y Street Capital and was hoping to connect with someone that has worked with them in the past.  

Needs all new cabintry, windows, doors, roof (has some life left), fixtures, fencing, some electrical and plumbing changes, and some framing/drywall due to termite damaged sill plate in areas.

I found it to be a great vehicle while I was working a W2 job as an engineer.

His advice would mirror mine - to start your company, build your brand, add value to the forums here on BP if you're going to post, create the marketing for your idea, and then work your backside off to make it work.
