@Roy HuHi Roy, I have 2 in the LQ area and like John said, it’s important to have a unique, well designed/themed property in order to do well with STR’s in this area in my opinion.

Also there are a lot of competition for these homes on the rental sites so be prepared to put some money into it to theme it up to appeal to the families that rent these.

I won't be requesting a 100% refund from the hosts I've booked with for a wedding in early May.

I'd probably look on the med-to-higher end of properties there, as you don't want to deal with the hassle of the lower tiers from far away.
