Not a lawyer in the least....read these articles and they seem (probably have a vested interest) to say that it's TCPA compliant because it doesn't ring and goes straight to voicemail servers. 

That's for everything: filing docs with the court, process server, appearance fee in court.  

Have you thought about getting a job at someplace that pays decent (such as Olive Garden server)...and save 100% of your money for a couple of years.Then you will have (some money), then when you graduate take the highest paying job you can find.You will need a couple of years stable work history to qualify for a loan (part time Olive Garden might not do it, or it might, maybe lenders can weigh in on this).Investment wise this is not a lot of money, as you may have to pay 20% to 30% to get a rental--you may need a partner.If you can shadow someone, and it makes you comfortable, go for it.Good Luck!

Working with a remote CPA who has experience in real estate is better than working with a local CPA who does not serve real estate investors.

The trash issue parallels that of CableTV - - mandated single server provider.Just like I can't elect to not pay for  specific Federal mandated services on my 1040 because I object to them, I can't sidestep community "mandated single server providers either".

If so, maybe you quit the server job and double down on Dad time.

So having credentials may mean you are educated, but ask your server at the diner how their law degree and credentials are treating them in this recession.

The only thing I was looking for is something with online access so what I ended up doing is setting aside a hard drive in one of my servers that I can access whenever I want from wherever I want.
