Now, you could possibly cause some problems for the agent who didn’t get the broker’s signature, which as you know you should have verified, and perhaps put some pressure on the brokerage by complaining to their state real estate commission, your only source of possible recourse, but not likely.

The Christy Clark government instituted this "tax" based on misguided public pressure not actual facts (facts in their own reports pointed to foreign (read: Chinese) buyers being less than 10% traded volume). 

It's always something I mention to clients as a possibility because I'm all about reducing the angst and pressure of the 1031 calendar. 

I just fixed mine with pressure treated wood and some 2x4's.  

There's always added pressure on businesses to want to pay less but the market will dictate who is going to work those jobs.

I feel like that’s a good goal and something I can do without putting a young family under too much pressure and risk.

I understand that the FoxConn project is putting upward pressure on prices, but I don't see a rational justification for a $20K jump in 9 months.
