Hi - I'm under contract to buy a house and the inspector reported mold evidence by a indoor HVAC vent.

I have a back door of a rental unit that has a large glass section (as seen below); and I wonder if I am potentially liable on either side if...1) Someone just breaks the glass, reaches in, easily unlocks the deadbolt...

Also, if you are using gas and these are going to be installed indoors, you will need to change the vents to a special and more costly style of vent.At least that is what I found when I looked into this about a year ago.

Given the indoor water it will likely perform well in the fall and spring as well, so I'm not quite sure what to account for.Please let me know if I can be of any more help!
