Given the abuse of scam-callers these days, I prefer mail.

All agents are incentivized to sell it's a transactional business and because you are just starting out and in a low barrier market you will encounter many new agents who need to eat and pay for their gym membership and car that month.   

As I mentioned in my original post; I am a mortgage broker and I am very careful to present a lender to my potential borrowers as I don't want them to get scammed.

But, you don't want to settle because it's all a scam anyway, unless they were truly hurt and if they were truly hurt, you would have heard from them in days, not months.If they did file and there is a docket number, let us know.

Following this period, if interest rates decrease, I intend to refinance the property, transition it into a rental, and repeat the process by acquiring another property to serve as my primary residence.I'm curious if anyone has attempted a similar strategy and, if so, what pitfalls or challenges they encountered along the way.

For example, I literally saved a buyer from a scam just last week who was about to execute a contract on an off market deal they had found.
