I've been on BP for a while, reading through a lot of articles and forum posts, and finally decided to introduce myself to the community that is so diverse and experienced! 

There is so much diversity and you know how it's going to pan out.

Omaha, Nebraska- very solid, long-term businesses-- transportation, Agriculture, financial services - Creighton University, University of Nebraska Omaha-- great schools with graduate programs- Relatively low barrier to entryFargo, ND- programs to bring in business- North Dakota Oil Boom-- Bakken Oil Fields- Strong economy -- diverse SMB businesses - Relatively low $ barrier to entry- low crime rateHow about you? 

Hopefully there won't be any major bust to go along with the current energy boom, granted Texas is more diverse than it was the last time, but a bust would still hurt.

People sometimes forget how big and diverse Bay Area is. 300K can buy you a very good house in Contra Costa County for example.

I don't like the lack of diversity on printing checks from multiple accounts, pay employees or issue 1099/W2s.

Chicago is such a diverse city.

Our backgrounds and situations are very diverse but there may be similarities and/or experiences to learn from.
