I understand that if we go far enough back in our own heritage, we all have immigrant lineage...but like has been mentioned before, we all assimilated to the culture.

I get loads of emails every day from "attorneys" or "bankers" of very wealthy people from the Middle East who just died and now are looking to give away their $60 million fortune to me!!

Also, he says that you are only wealthy when you can live without having to work another day in your life (and he explains the difference between various types of income).

I just never imagined being in the mongst of such a group of suscessful and wealthy peoples.

Thank You.I hate to say this on a forum which depends for its existenceon the willingness of people to make comments but...People make comments to "help" you either because theywant to share from their experiences, or they want to share from their fears.If it's the latter, they actually are hoping to have their fearsreinforced by what they read on forums like this.Many people -- many -- have the belief that once a person is "rich" then their wealth is an albatross to them.

At its heart it shows a few things that I think are pretty important:1) the counter-NAR/MLS culture is trying to get organized and strike in the right place -- Congress2) NAR lobbyists are all over the subcommittee already, they see this type of hearing as a direct attack on their bread and butter; their presence is directly reflected in the comments of the congressmen3) If you're looking for future trends, here they are; the writing is on the wall.

From where I sit, the government is allowing an entire culture to sit around on its collective *** all the while collecting Uncle Sam dole outs and expecting more - shades of New Orleans.
