It's funny that it will all catch up to them in the end.Yest, but your mortgage specifically states the consequences of not paying back your debt - you lose your collateral, ruin your credit rating, and possibly face a deficiency judgement for the balance.

Use other property equity as collateral for the 20% normal down.If you have to take it through a winter to wait for great tenants etc., better looking tax records or better interest rates you can then refi.

can someone please clarify exactly how to secure a property with my name on the title that i am investing in--i am providing the capital for rehab, we have a contract for sale to end buyer--i want to collateralize my capital with the property--there are no other liens on it-- how do i do this?
