Mine is a 1 1/2 story home which does not require stairs on the outside of the home leading up to the second floor, if this is what you mean.

My husband says that it is not possible to add a dishwasher if we don't move the washing machine (which will require jack-hammering up the cement floor and moving plumbing and all that -- we have a plumber friend who will help, but the cost and time involved will still be great) It might be worth mentioning that the college has said it was considering housing adjunct professors or married students there.QUESTIONS:Will the college expect to have dishwashers?

As someone who has lived in Florida for over 20 years I didn't think this winter was very cold at all, certainly not cold enough to cement in anyones mind the need or desire for a fireplace, and definitely not a wood burning one at that.

I'd start with a few:Droopy ceiling fan blades - Excessive moisture trapped in ceiling and attic, possible mold spread inside, plumbing problem, roof leak, soggy studs, possible damage to electrical wiring.Cracks on the ceiling - Possible foundation problem, roof leak, or storm and hail damage to roof.Soft spot or dip on the floor on 2nd level - Workmanship on flooring cover, water damage to wood underneath, renovations done from down stairs ceiling created damage.House extension not built on slab or same foundation as the house - Difference in foundation and level.
