I don’t have anyone specific to recommend, but in case no one else here does either, I wanted to recommend two other options.One would be to attend a meeting of a local RE group such as RIREIG and ask the same there.Another is that, I’m assuming RI housing doesn’t directly recommend anyone but they do sometimes have classes for new homeowners & landlords and besides being generally useful, you could ask other attendees at one of those events.Branching out from that, you could also check out upcoming classes for RI Realtors - if there is a class on 203(k)s you could either attend it (you don’t have to be an agent, though it does cost more for non-agents) or, probably simpler and cheaper, just track the instructor down online and ask her/him for recommendations.

@Michael Jobe Yes, REIAs get free use of a conference room in exchange for the expectation that all attendees buy food and drink.

I did have a talk with another attendee and he has had Jay's program for 6 months and thinks it was worth it.

The workshops are geared towards owners/buyers/sellers, but attendees will also include professionals in the industry like manufacturers, community owners/managers, suppliers, financial service providers, insurers, and retailers.

Essentially it was just to share information and have casual discussion. the attendees were mostly novices looking to learn more with a few advanced note investors .

While I do know many of the questions that I feel will already be asked I would love some real-world feedback from coming attendees.

Although I've attended many real estate Meetups and REIA group meetings over the last decade, none deal specifically with notes, and in fact most of the attendees seem to have little knowledge about them.I understand this is a relatively small niche in the real estate investing world, but I think it might be useful for those of use who are active in the field or interested in learning more about it to meet for our mutual benefit.
