Once you have the address tracking down the owner would be the easy part.

The final straw was when my property went into abatement after an inspection, due to the property management company's failure to address tenant requests for the exact items that caused the issue.

After looking into it more, I'm concerned about potential tax implications and legal issues, such as piercing the corporate veil.

More than a tax strategy, these are education planning tools, and they need to be addressed in a broader context than just taxes.

For a long-term hold, I wouldn’t be too concerned about the hill or alley access.

If there is "still contamination" at any level, I would be concerned about that and pass on the deal no matter what.
