We went through some marriage counseling before the wedding day and one of the things our counselor told us was that marriages broke up more often because of money arguments than any other cause.That planted the seed, and since the time we had our first child, a son, in 2012, I have strived not only to repay my debts, but to build the kind of wealth people scoff at.

We would like to make extra temporary revenue by either using the land for wedding receptions or boat/rv storage.

Has anyone here had experience investing in small wedding venues?

Lots of people coming for weddings, etc.

A friend of ours (close friend - was involved in our wedding) needs a place to stay for somewhere between 3-12 months.

One was a Sgt in the US Army deployed in Saudi Arabia and she is a wedding photographer. 

We would like to focus on our personal goals before getting married or having children, and why waste the money we have on a wedding when we can be putting down payments on properties and start investing in real estate?

BP Land Developers/REI,I'm trying to understand how a potential deal would work and need some help/advice on buying raw land and subdividing lots off of it and then building my dream business (Biergarten/Wedding Venue).

I personally wouldn't use the money to buy a vacation or pay for wedding.
