While on a road trip last week, I finished Brandon Turner’s The Book on Rental Property Investing, which was amazing, Ken McElroy’s ABCs of Real Estate Investing, and started Brandon Turner’s The Book on Investing in Real Estate With No (and low) Money Down.I’m extremely interested in the concept of house hacking and the plan for using that savings to help buy future SFRs that Brandon explains in his book and that’s what I’m going to spend a good portion of my time on researching going forward.

I have spoke with a turnkey provider and am planing a trip to look at the market and would also like to talk to an investor friendly RE agent and property manager in case we decide to go that rout and build a team.Any recommendations from current, happy RE investors would be greatly appreciated. 

My husband is back from his trip already, he also missed Joe's meeting but I was able to find another REIA through Meetup and that was super useful, too.

For example, a trip & fall in an Ohio rental owned by a NV LLC would be tried under OH law for almost all issues. 

I joined Bigger Pockets about a year ago, but it wasn't until about 3 weeks ago that my husband and I started road tripping for multiple family trips, and we thought that Pod Casts from Bigger Pockets would be a great way to pass the time, and they certainly were!

It is kind of rough, but who doesn't enjoy a tax deductible trip to southern Utah 1 or 2 times a month?? 

My family has been taking trips up there for years to ski on the mountains and to raft on the rivers.

One advantage (other than saving multiple trips talking to poorly trained bureaucrats) is that you can also filter the list so you only contact people with homes that you want to buy.
