Have you looked on your local REIA websites to see what lenders sponsor the monthly events?

To classify all syndicators in one bucket is like classifying all Airbnb hosts as the same.  

Some STR hosts have switched to MTR though with the laws so maybe you just have a supply problem there.

You can always search local tax records on your assessor's website. 

The unfortunate part is it's often lamented as the nicest home on the block and the fortunate part is it has been made money as a rental for many years and now as a Airbnb super host property.
