Check out a greenhouse or even Lowes or Home Depot's gardening center and ask if there is anything safe to either plant around the front of the house or a couple pots on the front porch.

@Phillip Vaughan its unfortunate because this is likely to drive money away and lower the total availability of vacation options in an economy that thrives in winter months from visitors. cant say I am suprised

I see some STR markets struggling, but many are still thriving.
