What are your goals and how much risk can you stomach?

You can make more money by building vs buying if you can stomach the process that you have to go through.

Whenever I read that, I just assume that REI can't add or subtract, and loves to speculate (risk).7 - This comment couldn't be more accurate, and whenever I read it makes my head spin, my stomach turn, and I thank my math teachers in school. 

My personal line in the sand is "just say no to unsecured debt", even with a personal guarantee and an immaculate FICO score. ( There are plenty of people on prosper & other peer to peer lending sites doing this everyday without flinching, I couldn't stomach it.)I have been on both sides as a lender & a borrower.As a lender, I would trade additional cross collateral instead of a personal guarantee any day.

They are exiting the stock market because they do not like stomaching the fluctuations.

If you have the stomach for it, you might even get comfortable with bad foundation problems and encourage your GC to shop broadly and carefully partner w a foundation pro to feel out who is a good fit for your team.

Not sure I have the stomach for vacation rentals tho

Sounds like the current landlord has no stomach for eviction.

I've never evicted anyone before, or even started the process of eviction, and it turns my stomach that I may have to do so
