We are in a very nice area, right next to Alpine. 8 minutes away from Silicon Slopes.

@Arthur PanagopoulosI live in Silicon Valley and have 4 properties in SF...While I am of the view that RE has peaked in 2018 and has been and will be on a down slope for the next 2-4 years, I also believe opportunities exist in every marker if you understand the market and look hard enough ....I bought a small condo in prime SF location in 2019... with 10% down I am cash neutral.... tenant is a google employee making $200K annual....I got lucky because sellers was OOS....So if you look hard, “once in a lifetime” deal will show up every 6 months....Lol

I come from a technology background and have been saying for years that Seattle is the next Silicon Valley. 

I'm using a combination of Vulkem and silicone caulk for the walls.

It is a geographically strapped area south of San Jose/Silicon Valley, with very limited and poor housing supply coupled with an unpopular local planning agency that is not customer service oriented because of restrictions on population density and water resources, etc.At this point in our lives, we cannot just pick up and move our jobs to another state.

@Brent WoosterAfter 35 year career as RE broker in Silicon Valley, I moved to Greenville in 2014 and have busily investing in lots of different type projects since then.Completed 20+ flips, 3 subdivisions, and have numerous long term hold rentals. 

We are a college town and the capital city and many tech start ups are making there home here in the "silicone prairie". 

I am a single mother living in nation most expensive ZIP Code in Silicon Valley where buying is definitely out of the question for me at this point of time.
