Unfortunately, one of the only things that we seem to be worse at than producing cars that people want is providing governmental oversight.Pelosi's rigid standards is a classic oxymoron.

Even by the classic 1% rule (rents should be 1% of purchase price), its $70K overpriced.

Anecdotal evidence; went to look at an acreage property, the 84 year old owner was telling me i could make a fortune with cabins on airbnb, which is a classic bubble warning sign to me, and checking availability of a place to stay in florida revealed hundreds and hundreds of listings with perfectly nice houses minutes from the beach for under$50 bucks a night!

:)I agree that this is classic decision-making under uncertainty and each of us will come to a different conclusion about it.

I once pulled up a person that was a on a site for classic cars that posted a request for parts along with his phone number.

But much of what you see on this board is probably not the REIT type holdings...This community tends to be more small landlords and smaller scale investors... but all kinds chime in..I have blog up on the Classics of Landlord Lit for some ideas on the scale (and most should be free in your library).
