So a double whammy.Also remember retirement accounts are sheltered in case of bankruptcy, whereas if you put the money into real estate, generally that is not sheltered.So just a few thoughts...but again, it's really a question for your financial advisor.

If you sue a small local builder with no money, then you probably just force them into bankruptcy, they open the next week under a different name and continue on.
