My background is in analytics and have worn a couple of different hats in the space - sales compensation, business performance / reporting, COGS management, and opportunity / risk evaluation and implementation.Real estate investing is the first topic in a long time - maybe ever - in which I've been truly interested in learning more.

Just to give you some background, I'm pretty busy (and loving!)

Couple of things I’d do: have a FaceTime/zoom call with them so you get a chance to meet them and hear them, see if you can get the full name and google the person, I’d prolly even have them do a background check.

How would you go about doing their background check?

I came from a traditional real estate background and got involved in land flipping years ago.

Sunghee Section can be great if done correctly.We recommend screening Section 8 tenants just live regular tenants and doing all the background checks.Many, but not all, S8 tenants have entitlement mentalities and in additional to being hard on properties, (causing lots of damages) they expect you to do everything for them!

DSCR lenders will still look at your personal credit, reserves, background, and experience.
