Hey Ryan, (in general) your passive income will be offset by these prior passive losses since they carry forward :)  Something i wanted to add to my answer here: These losses carrying forward can offset gains from stocks.

So it’s not like a book on how to be a day trader (buy a stock when it hits 2% below it’s moving 7 day average).3.

Also, can I use the deductions from real estate to reduce my active income and income from the stock market?  

There is no "safe" investment in the stock market, real estate, etc., but you have to roll the dice and get in the game.
